Portals

Portals are aperture-form works — objects organized around a central opening that simultaneously frames and dissolves space. Fabricated in optical glass and aluminum, each piece reads differently depending on viewing angle: from one position a solid material presence, from another a threshold of light. The series explores the formal idea of the opening as subject rather than absence.
